When we founded Unity Hospitality, we were driven by a bold and unshakable dream: to build a company that would unite hotel management, marketing, and intelligent sales strategies into one clear purpose — transforming hotels into profitable, sustainable, and admired businesses.
That dream was born from personal experience. From the pain we witnessed in independent hotels, from the frustration of watching properties filled with potential struggle due to a lack of strategy, of vision, of support.
Today, this dream crosses new borders.
It is with great pride that we announce the arrival of two game-changing names in our leadership: Nilson Bernal and Henrique Timoteo have joined Unity Hospitality as Managing Partners, taking the lead in our U.S. operations based in Miami, Florida.
Nilson Bernal brings over 30 years of excellence in luxury hospitality. His name is synonymous with transformative leadership. Having worked behind the scenes of some of the world’s most demanding hotel operations, he built teams, implemented systems, and consistently delivered outstanding results.
To us, Nilson is more than an executive. He’s someone who has walked the operational floor, led with empathy, and developed leaders. He understands the pain points of hoteliers because he has lived them — but he’s always looked beyond them.
Henrique Timoteo, in turn, brings the global vision we’ve always pursued. Since 2005, he has spearheaded business growth and operational strategy across South America, Europe, the Emirates, South Asia, and North America.
In every market, Henrique delivered more than performance — he built bridges. He forged alliances, embraced cultures, and led with curiosity and respect. His multicultural insight and experience elevate our potential on a global scale.
When we met in Miami, it wasn’t just about sharing plans. There was something deeper — an alignment of purpose. Each of us brought not only strong credentials, but powerful stories. And somehow, those stories, shaped across different continents, were destined to converge.
It was at the peak of the pandemic, when the world was shutting down, that we decided to open new doors. What began as a project to rescue a struggling resort in Brazil quickly evolved into one of the fastest-growing hospitality firms in the Americas.
We created a method that merges marketing, revenue strategy, and hotel operations — all under a single performance-driven model.
But we knew we couldn’t stop there.
Hospitality is changing, and those who don’t evolve with it will be left behind.
That’s why we chose Miami as our international headquarters — because it is a bridge. A cultural and economic hub. A place where Latin America meets North America, where opportunities are born every day, and where the world pays attention.
